2004 Mill Race, Vergelegen Only £7.50 Attractive dark ruby. The nose shows ripe berry, plum, chocolate and coffee flavours. There is also a hint of mint, spice and pencil shavings. The tannins are fine grained with great fruit-wood integration. Ideal with pasta, pizza, stews and premium red meat cuts. |

2004 Rolly Gassman Riesling £13.99 If you think you don’t like Riesling, prepare for a damascene conversion! I have been selling Rolly Gassman wines for the past five years and every year they are exceptional. Releasing them with a little maturity means that they are wonderfully round and succulent. Their Riesling is incredibly versatile, delicious as an aperitif, with spicy foods, a selection of smoked meats, pretty much anything in fact.

2005 Chardonnay, Vergelegen Only £7.50 Pale green-gold colour with intensely-focused flavours showing citrus, biscuits, toast and ripe fruits. The taste is long and elegant with excellent fruit/wood integration. Best served at 10 - 12°C with smoked salmon, oysters, grilled rainbow trout and poultry. |

2007 Gruner Veltliner,Durnberg Only £7.99 This wine has just had a brilliant review in the Ultimate Guide to Austrian Wines 2008: “Medium green-yellow with golden highlights. Fresh apple and spring meadow herbs are baked by smoky flint nuances. Ripe melon and discreet oak spice are found in a firm elegant body with well-integrated acidity. The subtle finish lingers with pear, caramel and vanilla” (89-91)

It is made from organic wheat from the Steppe, and spring from the foothills of the Himalayas, and is one of the very few vodkas to be distilled five times. The unique smoothness and purity that results from this production process make Snow Queen one of the finest and most stylish vodkas in the world. |

2006 Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc Only £120/Case (12x75cl) Thats only £10.00 a bottle! Coming from the ex-Cloudy Bay team, Dog Point in my opinion one of the best Marlborough Sauvignons around. “Concentrated, with a ripe wash of guava, grapefruit, lime and gooseberry flavours... Mineral accents... lingering finish...” 91 points - Reviewed by Winestate (30 Apr 2007)

2007 Macon Lugny Les Genievres, Louis Latour Only £81/Case (12x75cl) Thats only £6.75 a bottle! Les Genievres is the top cuvee of Louis Latour’s Macon Lugny. I think the 2007 is even better than the 2006! The wine is has aromas of lemon, acacia and honey. In the mouth it is round, revealing a good structure with a lovely zippy finish. Compared with other Chardonnay’s around, this is a steal at £6.75!
