A fabulous wine that is prefectly mature now and posses a delicious core of dark, ripe harmonious fruit. Light smoke and leather notes intermingle with dark bramble/cassis fruit. Long, rich and very satisfying. 60% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 10% Syrah, 5% Carignan.

The Carignan vines are over 75 years old, giving superb depth of fruit. Dark, spicy, rich, ripe fruit with notes of garrigues and damson with a terrific sense of depth. Long and wonderfully constructed - oooh yeah! 60% Syrah, 40% Carignan.

Mouthfilling and very well balanced on the palate with cascades of dark fruit, ripe discernable tannins and a fabulous long finish. Mature Languedoc at its best - where's the duck!
